This section contains the canonized list of starship classes that have been introduced into the Starflight universe. Aside from being used in the course of game-play, these ships can help out prospective starship designers by providing a template against which they can compare their own starships, as well as provide reference material for what kind of technology is typically employed by any given race. The starships presented here are all default starships of their respective classes. For a PC group, these values can be vastly different, depending upon what equipment the group decides to outfit their ship with. For the most part, GMs should not allow the characters to install equipment more than four classes above or below the default level. Traditional campaigns will not allow the purchase of equipment above Class Five for any major system. Any limits to the chassis should also be taken into account when allowing characters to select their own equipment for their ship.

Unless otherwise noted, all Beam Weapon Mounts and Projectile Weapon Mounts are located in the Forward firing/defense arc for all ships indicated in the following list.
